BassetRescues.com is an organization dedicated to
specifically helping other Basset Rescues all over the country.
When a Basset Rescue Organization gets a dog with special needs
or needs medical attention beyond their affordability, or are simply
seniors that don’t easily get adopted, we take them in, give them
the medical attention that is needed, and then provide foster care
until they can be adopted.
In other words, a rescue for rescues. Anyone that rescues a dog
is saving a life. But most do not understand all that goes with that. Aside from the
medical needs, there are emotional needs as well, for both the rescuer and the
rescue. Started in 2002 we have taken in blind dogs, deaf dogs, 3 legged
dogs, cancer dogs, any dog that would, more likely than not, be helped.
